Ashburnham Highway Dept.

Ashburnham's Highway Dept. provides essential services to the public that include road maintenance, snow plowing, road salting/sanding, pothole repair and other essential services. In addition, we provide support to all other municipal departments in our town including the Transfer Station.

WINTER PARKING BAN
SECTION 5-5: NO ALL-NIGHT PARKING
(WINTER SEASON, 11/15-4/1)

Winter Parking Ban

No person shall allow, permit or suffer any vehicle registered in his name, other than one acting in an emergency, to be parked on any street for a period of time longer than one (1) hour between the hours of 12:00 MIDNIGHT and 5:00 a.m. from November 15th to April 1st.

Parking Fine: $50.00 per offense.


WINTER SAND FOR THE PUBLIC

FOR ASHBURNHAM RESIDENTS ONLY. The Public Sand Pile is now available at the Municipal Grounds/Landry Field parking lot on Williams Rd. The DPW requests that this is to be used by Town Residents ONLY, and is not for use by Contractors.


THE COLUMBARIUM AT NEW CEMETERY

Ashburnham's New Cemetery Columbarium

New Cemetery has a Columbarium. Each niche is a maximum 2 inurnment. Please contact Andrew Fichtel of the Cemetery Dept at afichtel@ashburnham-ma.gov for more information.


WATER-SEWER DEPT METER NOTICE

Read this important notice about policies regarding Water Meter Replacements, Water Shut-off/Turn-on Fees and Credit on Water Usage to Fill Pools. (Please note that there is not a "Meter Replacement Program".)


HOW TO OBTAIN A WATER-SEWER FINAL READ/BILL

Water & Sewer Final Read/Bill Requests need to be submitted on our Water & Sewer Bill Fillable Request Form by a Real Estate Agent or Closing Attorney's Office representing either the seller or the buyer, and emailed to bwoodhouse@ashburnham-ma.gov. Please allow 3 days for final read to be obtained and final bill to be emailed to the appropriate parties indicated on the form.
